Consulting a practitioner: A careful assessment of your medical history and present symptoms will precede most of these treatments. Therapists here work holistically, that is, they treat the whole body and mind, not just the symptoms. They look to where and why the fire started instead of just turning off the alarm bells. To this end some treatments are long term as the client has probably unknowingly had the problem for quite a while before the symptoms showed up. Illness is seen as a disharmony or inner imbalance, so we try to resolve underlying problems rather than simply dealing with specific symptoms.
Therapists are fully qualified and insured.
